Meet the Blogmaster
Welcome and thank you for taking the time to read my blog.
I started this site under the most unlikely of circumstances. I was new to Social Media and dove right into it without really knowing what I was doing. I started out with my Facebook page because a friend wanted to show me pictures of his children. And then someone recommended that I build my business network on LinkedIn. This amazing journey would not be complete without all the wonderful people that I’ve met on Twitter. So now I have a “social media trifecta” of connections with some of the most interesting people I’ve ever encountered. And it all would not have been possible without that first step.
Like everyone that I’ve met so far, I learn as I go. Things don’t always go as planned, though many things in life usually do. I’m finding myself right in the heart of social media, and I’m loving every minute of it. With all the resources available and the people I’ve become acquainted with, I know that I will do well.
I chose the categories of discussion for this blog because I saw a direct correlation between them. They were co-dependent on each other. Each of them separately have become subjects of considerable debate in the business world.
I have a diverse background of knowledge and topics that I’ve studied at great length – from Literature, Science, and History to Social Media and Political Science (to name a few). I have always considered myself a lifelong learner. Not because I’m choosing to be the perpetual student at a university, but as perpetual student of life. I learn whatever I can, from whomever I can. I encourage and support intellectual conversations on most topics, but I will reserve my personal opinions on the more controversial topics (e.g. politics, religion, and economics) for those that I’m closest to.
I am a Small Business Owner, avid Guest Blogger, and Social Media Strategist with an ability to work on multiple projects at one time while maintaining good judgment. This allows me to provide the level of support that businesses look for and don’t always find. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I get the job done.
I strive to be a life-long learner, which includes (but is not limited to) staying current with the latest technologies that affect individuals and businesses.
Natural leadership and dedication have been hallmarks of my experiences. My areas of specialty are: Blogging, Branding, Entrepreneurialism, Global thinking, Globalization, Green, Sustainability, Eco-friendly,Leadership, LinkedIn, Networking, Online Reputation Management, Organizational Tools,Twitter, and Facebook.
